Noah the PainterThis was a "hurry-up and get this done" project that was rescheduled from the weekend to Wednesday through Friday at the last minute, because a big storm front was bringing rain on Friday night.  In spite of that change, 25 volunteers answered the call and we got it all done just in time - way to go, crew!

Ms. Goldhammer is a 67-year-old widow who lives alone in her Milwaukie mobile home. She is low-income, and receives SNAP (food stamp) benefits. She has lived in her home for 16-years, and requested help with areas of rotten siding and a leaking window.

The siding along the front of the home was significantly rotted and in need of replacement. There were some other areas of concern as well.  We replaced siding, trim, and skirting in several areas...then caulked...then painted the entire house a handful of hours before the rains came!

PARTNERS:

  • Big thanks to Dylan from Pressure Power, who pressure-washed the house at no cost to get it ready for paint!
  • We also partnered with The Harbor (a ministry of Portland Rescue Mission), who mobilized a crew of 10 awesome volunteers on Friday!
