Safwa Project
January 6-10 in Beaverton, OR

dirty jobfloor in processThe Safwa family of 7 includes a set of very elderly grandparents and a developmentally disabled young adult.  They own their own home.  Mrs. Safwa is unable to work due to the round-the-clock care that her parents require and Mr. Safwa’s income barely enables them to get by.  The grandparents’ bathroom was in bad shape due to a leaking toilet which left the floor rotting and slick.  In partnership with Sunset Presbyterian Church and Anctil Plumbing, Catalyst replaced the subfloor, installed new flooring, sink & vanity, and new toilet.
