Morales Project

Ms. Morales is a 64 year old single woman who speaks little English. Her daughter and her daughter's partner, both of whom live with Juana, provide all of Juana's financial support. They also provide transportation, translation help and companionship. The floor in Juana's kitchen & living area was very old, and was also damaged by a dishwasher leak several years ago.  It was a terrible tripping hazard which needed replacement....this is how she broke her arm, as seen in the photo.


Leadership and volunteers for this project were provided by Abundant Life Church in Happy Valley.  Tom McGranahan and 5 other guys from ALC joined with Construction Manager Darrell Kriechbaum to replace the floor at no cost.  Way to go, crew!
