tnIMG1050Ms Hart is a warm, kind lady who lives alone in a 1923 Tigard ranch house surrounded by new development. She runs a small business which provides enough to keep her moving along, but not enough to take care of critical repairs on her home. Over the years, some areas of her home had fallen into disrepair.  We partnered with Tigard Christian Church (TCC), who helped mobilize volunteers & resources to take care of these things for her. We tore apart and replaced a rotten laundry room floor; replaced 5 drafty windows, 2 doors, and a patio door; cleaned & flushed gutters & downspouts; did a bunch of yard work and other minor repairs; and hauled-away a trailer extremely full of debris!  TCC also donated funds to pay for an exterminator to rid the crawl space of unwanted varmints, and an electrician to give the main panel a safety service. This massive effort was our first big project of the year!

PROJECT LEADERS: Kuddos to Crew Chief Rick Hoggan and Advocate Linda Owen (both from TCC)
