Eichorn Project
April 11, 2015 - in Hillsboro, OR
Ms. Eichorn is a single mom who lives with her daughter, who is a senior in high school. She was referred to us by our friends at Eve's Daughters, a ministry to single moms that operates out of Sunset Presbyterian Church. She has been self-employed since her daughter's birth in 1997, and had received most of her work by light networking and word-of-mouth. Unfortunately, due to drastic changes in her industry over the past few years, as well as some health concerns, Ms. Eichorn has been going through significant financial struggles. She hopes to be able to stay in her home until her daughter graduates this June, but may need to sell in order to pay off debts. 26 volunteers converged on Ms. Eichorn's home to take care of some repairs needed, and did a fantastic job!
