Bishop Project TeamMs. Bishop lives with her adult son in their double-wide mobile home in Wilsonville. We received Ms. Bishop's application last Fall...the roof of her home was leaking badly, and she was worried about the coming rainy season.  Upon our site assessment, we determined that there was no way we could do the project in time, so we covered it with a gigantic blue tarp in October.  In spite of one of the roughest Winters we've ever had, that tarp held strong!

Finally, this September, we returned in-force with mighty crews - totalling 50 volunteers over 3 days - to replace the entire roof - including all of its plywood substrate...it was a big job!  Now, Ms. Bishop and her son will stay safe & dry for years to come....thanks to the generosity of our wonderful volunteers and partners!

Once again, we were blessed by the amazing efforts of the volunteers from Community of Hope Lutheran Church!

We also partnered with Malarkey Roofing Products.  They donated all the shingles & underlayment needed for the roof!
