Moving Help for Gloria
August 15 in Beaverton

Gloria Volunteers

This tiny little project was to benefit a local Beaverton woman who just needed some cheerful muscle.
A recent widow, Gloria had fallen on hard times financially and was in the process of moving-in with a friend.  Her former husband had built a very small woodshed that was very special to her, and she needed help moving it.  It was small enough to fit into the back of a pickup truck, but still weighed between 300-400 pounds.    A handful of us arrived to transport and place it on the little foundation they had made for it.  Such a small act of generosity made a big impact!  Thanks to JJ, Blair, Cory, & Elise, for giving 2-hours of your Thursday to help Gloria!
