Ms. Lambert is a very nice older lady who has lived alone in her Tigard mobile home for 9-years. She is currently recovering from Stage 3 Lung Cancer, and is extremely low-income - just above the poverty-line. She is staying in her home as much as possible during the current Covid-19 pandemic, and has her food delivered by her sons. Her home had some very serious issues that were in danger of compromising the home’s structural integrity, and we took care of it all just before the Fall rains set-in!
Volunteers from Truebeck Construction supported this project, led by long-time volunteer Scott Richardson.
Renewal By Anderson also partnered with us, by donating all new windows for the project!
WORK ITEMS:
-
All of the siding on the South and West sides of the home were severely damaged, falling off under the windows and creating soft spots that could be pushed through with your finger. We tore-off all of that siding (half of the home), repaired areas of structural dry-rot, and installed brand new siding
-
Replaced all the old drafty aluminum windows with new vinyl Anderson models
-
Installed new window trim
-
Caulked and prepped for paint by others
It was a fantastic project, great job crew!
