Erica is a low-income 57-year old woman who lives alone in her 70’s-era Hillsboro mobile home. She has owned the home for 18-years, and has been unable to take care of several repair items that have eventually reached the “critical” stage. She learned about us from our partners at Washington County Community Action.
This was a very big project to begin with, but our partners at WCCA have already taken care of the heavy lifting! This Summer, they provided a brand-new roof, new windows & ext. doors, and repaired holes in the ceilings & floors. We mobilized volunteers to install new flooring in various parts of the home, and installing a new sink & countertops in the kitchen.
