Ms. Malenkovich is a single 61 year-old woman who has a number of health issues. Her only income is from SS Disability benefits. She received a gift of money from her family and decided to use it for a home improvement project. She hired a contractor after checking his credentials. He went to work and was apparently botching the job so badly she fired him, leaving her with no money and a room with uninsulated walls, a couple of unframed walls, one open space where a window is supposed to be, one window installed incorrectly, no sheet rock, no electrical, etc.
Volunteers converged on Ms. Malenkovich's home to help cleanup the mess, complete unfinished projects, and some other tasks she needed done. Thank you crew for a job well done!
Big thanks to project leaders Ryan Kerner and Todd Everett from Living Hope Fellowship, as well as TE Connectivity for providing grant funding!
