In late 2021, YWCA purchased a large residential group home from another non-profit. The property has 5 rooms with their own private bathrooms, as well as common areas. YWCA will provide shared housing at this location for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, formerly-incarcerated women as they reunite with their children, and moms reuniting with families following residential treatment.

The property was in very rough shape; and in early 2022 volunteers removed all of the flooring, fixtures, cabinets, etc. We had 53 volunteers donate 284 hours over 2 1/2 days to do wall-patching as needed, prep all the walls & ceilings, and then paint the entire interior of the property. There were also some exterior tasks we took care of.

YWCA covered all the hard-costs for the project, and Catalyst supplied volunteer labor and project management.  Well done, crew!!!
