Broy Project

Ms. Broy is a 74 year-old single woman who has owned her 1978 mobile home for 16-years. She is severely disabled, and spends much of her time confined to her bed. Her 37 year-old son lives with her, and is her state-paid caregiver. Both of them suffer from PTSD as the result of living through two house-fires and the death of Nancy’s other son. They live on Nancy's social security and the small stipend her son receives from the state as his mom's caregiver. The repairs we completed were needed in order to make the kitchen usable, and the floors safe given Nancy's limited mobility.
