Gertson Project

Ms. Gertson is a 60 year-old single woman living in a 1970's era mobile home with her 17 year-old son. She is disabled, and they live on her disability income and their SNAP benefits. We helped her with some exterior carpentry & painting.

Most of the skirting on her home had fallen off and been damaged. She replaced some areas with lattice, which was unsatisfactory as it let-in small animals that found their way under the house. 25 volunteers worked together to replace the skirting - thanks so much to all of you!
