Turner Retirement Homes is a non-profit ministry center in Turner, OR, that was established back in the 1920's. Over the years TRH has provided free and/or low-cost housing for retired ministers and missionaries, as well as supporting other ministries. Long-time volunteer and previous board member Tim Long is the new Exec. Director of TRH, and we partnered with some local friends in Marion County to do a small project that will support a brand-new Community Food Bank located on the property.
We replaced the siding of an "Octoplex" building that houses the new food bank. This involved removing 2-layers of existing rotten siding, making necessary structural repairs, installing new waterproofing & siding, and then painting the building exterior. TRH covered all of the hard-costs for the project.
