Ms. Batchelor-Smith is a 66-year-old single woman living in a single-family home where she has lived for the past 28 years. She has a very low income and needs help in maintaining her home.
The home in general is in decent shape. The flooring and the sub-floor in the kitchen around the dishwasher was damaged. The dishwasher leak was repaired by the handle-it crew last year, so we replaced the damaged flooring in her kitchen. We also fixed a leaky shower, and the affected sheetrock with a fabulous group of volunteers.
