ABOUT
Catalyst Partnerships NW
Every day in the Portland Metro area, many of our low-income neighbors—especially elderly and disabled homeowners—are living in unsafe conditions because they can’t afford critical home repairs. These challenges put their health, safety, and even their ability to stay in their homes at risk. That’s where Catalyst comes in.
Founded in September 2007 as a small, grass-roots movement by families and individuals who simply wanted to help their neighbors, Catalyst has always focused on deep, meaningful connections. We bring the community together—volunteers, local partners, and donors—without any strings attached, providing free, essential repairs that restore not just homes, but peace of mind, stability, and a true sense of belonging for our neighbors. With a professional, curated approach, we’ve completed hundreds of projects and worked with thousands of volunteers, offering extra support through our dedicated Care Team to ensure that every neighbor we serve receives the attention they deserve. Focused on creating lasting impact, we nurture deeper connections, one neighbor at a time.
